Matshepo is a passionate waste and sustainability professional, with expertise in planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on sustainability and environmental programs. She has led successful sustainability and resource recovery projects, energy and water efficiency, food security and community development that have won industry awards in Australia. She has delivered local and international award-winning environmental education and awareness programmes in South Africa.
Matshepo has extensive experience planning and delivering programs and projects, developing strategic and operational plans, business case development. As well as stakeholder and relationship management including community consultations, joint consultative panels. Prior to joining APC Matshepo worked for the City of Sydney, Randwick City Council, TAFE Sydney Institute and City of Ekurhuleni.
Matshepo leads and supports the audit team in the delivery of audit projects on time and to a high standard meeting clients’ needs. She uses her strong research, project management and communication skills in report writing, business development and presentations.
Matshepo holds a Master of Environmental Science (University of New South Wales) and Bachelor of Environmental Health (Tshwane University of Technology), Certificates IV in Carbon Management and Occupational Health, Certificate in Public Participation, Certificate in Total Quality Management and others.
