Tender preparation
Landfill Operational Management Contract
CQG Consulting, QLD – APC was contracted to provide peer review and technical input into the development of a solid waste landfill operational management contract for Yeppoon Landfill, owned and operated by Rockhampton Regional Council. This review included assessment of the requirements of the contract against the site’s SBMP and Landfill Licensing Conditions, as well as a review of considerations for effective operational management, pricing and environmental controls.
Household Clean-up Service
Hawkesbury City Council, NSW – APC researched and prepared the tender and contract documents for open tender for a kerbside household clean-up service, covering the urban areas of Hawkesbury City Council. APC lead the evaluation panel of all tenders and submitted the evaluation report recommending the successful tenderer for consideration and adoption by full council.
Garden Organics Collection and Processing Service
Hawkesbury City Council, NSW – APC researched and prepared the tender and contract documents for open tender for the garden organics collection and processing service covering the urban areas of Hawkesbury City Council. APC lead the evaluation panel of all tenders and submitted the evaluation report recommending the successful tenderer for consideration and adoption by full council.
Waste Collection and Processing Tender
University of NSW, NSW – APC developed waste collection and processing tender documents in consultation with the Sustainability Committee, with an aim to determine the best resource-recovery option for the management of all the university’s waste streams. The tender process provided a baseline service but was flexible enough to allow work components to be awarded to multiple service providers or to all be awarded to one service provider. The documents also sought to encourage tenderers to propose alternative approaches in order to achieve UNSW goals.
Tender Evaluation
Warringah Council, NSW – APC participated as an independent assessor on the tender evaluation panel for the following contracts: Domestic Recycling Contract 1997; Domestic Waste Management Collection contract including garbage, garden, recycling, litter, clean-ups December 2002–January 2003; Marketing of recyclables July–October 2004.
Preparation of Tender Responses
Doyle Bros, NSW – APC prepared tender documentation in response to multiple contracts for service provision to the private sector by Doyle Bros. Our involvement lead this company to winning a number of substantial high profile long term collection and processing contracts.
SMS Municipal Services, NSW – APC prepared tender documentation for domestic and commercial waste services for Hornsby and Wyong Council tenders.
